STUDENTS HOUSE | WAWRZYŃCA
A student dormitory shaped by precision, repetition, and community needs.
A dormitory is a highly specialized type of building, much like a student is an extraordinary individual. The project is focused on achieving maximum efficiency of rental space, high repeatability of residential units, and appealing shared spaces.
The building consists of a simple, 8-story structure, featuring repetitive large windows and a prominent entrance portal. A spacious, usable terrace with relaxation, gathering, and sports zones is designed on the north-western side of the building. The building incorporates public amenities such as fitness facilities, a breakfast bar, co-working areas, study rooms, a game room, small rental spaces, and a retail outlet.
For the dormitory, heavy precast concrete technology is deemed perfect. The project envisages the use of a substantial number of pre-made components - in addition to the structure and envelope of the building, precast bathrooms for all rooms, and modular furniture solutions are planned.
